Financial Literacy Badge Workshop: On My Own Virtual
Creating a budget is an important part of money management. Businesses, families, and individuals alike use budgets to help plan for the future. A budget starts with knowing how much you earn and prioritizing what you spend that hard-earned money on. When done right, a budget helps ensure you can pay for the things you need and what you want while still having enough left over in case of emergencies. The New York Capital Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants (a professional organization of individuals from the private sector, public sector and academia who are interested in and involved with government financial management) is pleased to partner with the Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York to present this hands-on workshop that will teach you important financial literacy skills that will last you a lifetime.
