Girl Scouts Care and Share Program
The Care and Share Program is a virtual sale, a way for girls to sell Cookies as a service project without having to handle or store actual boxes of cookies. This program benefits Girl Scout troops and Council while supporting the patriotic campaign care packages sent to members of the armed forces serving overseas. Care and Share cookies are also donated to local veterans organizations, the red cross and food pantries.
Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York partners with local military and community organizations to provide boxes of Cookies. You can donate cookies virtually to military via either online donation, or when Girl Scouts are selling directly.
To encourage customers to support Care and Share Girl Scout troops may use this cookie cover, a wrap that fits a box of Thin Mints, as a display at their cookie booth. Add a Care and Share drop box at the booth where donated Girl Scout Cookies can be displayed. Customers will appreciate seeing the donated cookies stacking up and knowing they are helping make a difference!
